Oh heck a funny old day ...

Well today i went for a day trip to the seaside with my parents and sister. Before setting off though, I managed somehow to pull my back out and set off some nasty pain in my back and hips which have been really ok for a long while ... how i manage these things is beyond me, all i did was go to step in the blinkin shower :(  - Anyway, i wasnt going to let it stop me and hobbled to the car, hobbled around Redcar and was dearly tempted to sit on mams knee in her wheelchair lol. It was a lot of fun but the weather was overcast but hey !!! who needs the weather when you have good company - My camera was charged and ready to go but never got used.

My latest creative effort was this encaustic wax collage using various papers, vintage image, encaustic wax in clear and silver and some mica pigments and inks.

thanks for visiting my blog. Please also come and see me at Dezinaworld blog

That's too bad about your back. But, at least it didn't spoil your day.

I love encaustic wax creation. Beautiful.

Hope your back gets better soon. Horrible when you do that sort of thing as it's difficult to get out of bed!
Absolutely adore your collage-the wax looks fantastic.

Love the collage June, she looks very sophisticated. Have never tried encaustic art but it's on my HUGE "to do" list.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Back pain is one of the most awful things to deal with.
