This is what i have been working on as i decided to do what i enjoy most which is making backgrounds. I adore texture and colour and this one has my favourite colours in. I will likely cut this up later and use for atc's or other projects but It was made with the feeling of spring and newness in the air and so its a piece based on my feelings at the time of making it.
I would like to submit this one for the 'colourful challenge' on art pieces this week

Wow! It is amazing how well the textures show up in a photo/scan. Your gorgeous picture must look absolutely spectacular in "real life". The colours are amazing.

Hi June! I just happened to check my blog before I was off to bed and saw your lovely post and popped in over here for a visit! What a lovely blog! Now, backgrounds are my biggest problem so I am very impressed that they are your favorite thing to do and this one is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! If I could make them like you I would like them much more than I do! I make my main pieces in a short time, well easier time, but I get so hung up on what to put them on. Rub off on me and maybe I will catch some of your magic!
