Dream Atc -Wednesdays stampers
This is for the Open Theme for wednesday stampers
Its so long since i did my favourite type of art .. the atc. I enjoyed this very much
For this weeks challenge at Mixed Media Monday . I decided to add these. I have had so much fun in 2008 with mixing inks, paints & pens with stamps sometimes too. These are two mini stampbords likely to end up as card embellishments or fridge magnets

Over at arty girlz the challenge is 'for the home' and this is my attempt - A fridge magnet. This is an art piece on stampbord and i called it 'mixed emotions' based on the idea that nothing is entirely black and white. This is a mixed media piece and has two round magnets secured to the back. Already has a home ... yep my fridge hehehe
Thanks go to a very special blogger and friend Serena Who passed on to me this very special award. This is one of the nicest awards to recieve from another friend on the net and i feel really honoured that this wonderful lady and artist would think of me to pass along to, thanks Serena. I am thrilled to post this

Eraser and pastel accident
Its been a crazy last week and had my sons 30th birthday plus a charity run with santa and his sleigh. Today there were no demands on me and i was able to finish these two things i have been working on.
One is just a basic pastel scene of a walker on a beach
the other is a technique i found by playing with the eraser on my pencil while deciding what to do with the colourful pastel background i had made. I thought it would be fun to use the eraser on the pen as my drawing tool and this guy was created
Also for the digital challenge at artarazzi i made this one

Hot Glue Art
Be Still
In the blended line between conciousness and sleep you can find me.
There lies the land where my soul walks,
leaving footprints sure and deep.
Strength and sureness, power and revelation are felt,
eyes glimpse the truth, and my feet know the way.
Yet as I sink or rise from either side that hazy place
I am lost in worlds surreal and dangerous, unsteady and fragile.
A waking world, and a world of sleep?
One they call truth, one they swear is a lie,
neither a place of safety, nor one where I really reside.
Either side of my peaceful plain,
I spin like a top in the harsh winds of time,
thrashed by the whip of uncertainty,
and thrown back and forward untill....
I reach the tranquil line and sink within soft folds of temporary calm.
This is an atc i wanted to make for a while. I use a hot glue technique which i have added to my crafty tips blog in a tutorial
In addition to the above atc i also made this one with the wonderful background for artcreationsfriday
