Haunted design house challenge

I loved the challenge this week at Haunted design house  Which was 'elegantly evil'
I made this atc using .. image from 'gothic set 2' at my other blog which will be posted today. And added some flocked backing, some lace, black velvet ribbon and some sequin ribbon.
'Black Widow'

Oooh this is fabulous June, I love it, and thanks for joining in with us at HDH again this week :D
I'm working on a piece using the old witch woman from your Trick or Treat set, and it's all going very well EXCEPT I want some black lace, and, lol, could I find any? Of course not, but I did find some brown lace "Ah, I thought, I'll make this black" First I tried a permanent marker. It left black scratches on top, but still lots of brown. So, I thought I'd try food colourings. It looked beatifully black when wet, but the colour all drained out and it was back to brown by the time it was dry. And then I got out the big guns - printer ink. It dyes everything and it's permanent, so I popped the lace in, and left it for a couple of hours. And the darn lace is STILL brown! >*< My hands and fingernails and the bowl I used are all of course, an unwashable shade of smudgy grey and look completely manky, but the lace is still that darn obstinate brown colour :P
