Regal ATC

I seem to always go back to my atc's as i find the size seems to work best for me. I enjoy smaller and larger pieces occasionally but i do believe the atc is my fave. This one again is a mixed media collage i have entitled 'Regal' layers of acrylics,gels and inks plus postage stamps

Spring painting

Thought i would join everyone else in an interpretation of Spring. Spring is my favourite time of year and altho the clocks went forward in the UK last night, announcing British summertime ... I believe summer is a way off yet.

Heart Hangers, Encaustic & wood burning

These are both my creations using my new 'Heart Hangers' (click on link to see other DT work & the new set)

I enjoyed making these as they were so different. Hope you like them too.

Below are my latest try out pieces. In the first one made the encaustic background in silver and gold and then used beeswax to layer the collage lady on to the piece.
The next piece is my very first try at woodburning. I also inked the piece and added a tiny brad for decoratio. It seems like fun so shall practice some more with this :)

Beary Cute

The challenge this week was to do glitzy over at Creations by jj forum  So still being in the mood for cute i made a fridge magnet... I seem to be going through a really light hearted stage with my mojo, just playing and nothing else much is coming through, so i will just keep going with it, whatever lol ...

Frame is inked and embossed. Image stamped and coloured and the butterfly was attached with hot glue

My Mojo blinked again

 Its very very on and definitely off at the moment but every now and again my mojo blinks at me and lets me create which i very much need to do. This is a folded tag i made today just as i fancied making a tag that was a little different, its cosmic shimmer sprays and a mushroom spray (cant see it well on the front and back of the tag, then stamped and embossed in white flourishes. The inside image is of course one of my own dezinaworld images which is printed on canvas and then another embossed flourish added and the thanks sentiment stamped

Spring for Lots to do

I always try to do the lots to do challenge if i can and today the theme is spring. so since i was into colouring today i made this card. Once again using  Jenni's beautiful digital stamp. Hope this fits the bill

 Yes i know i dont do it often but i love the therapy of colouring with pens so decided to get my promarkers out and do some cards with digi stamps instead for a change. This one is so cute and from Jenni at cardmadfairy  The little flower is stamped and cut out and embossed, its one of my faves from flissy  its from the oodles of doodles collection.

Lipstick n Copper

Unfortunately i havent been able to play much this week as not been well but ..... hurayyyyyyyy for antibiotics, i actually felt well enough to play and make this one just now and it felt so nice although i still cant find my mojo much at least it blinked at me for a while lol

Lots to do challenge

The Lots to do challenge this week is keys and locks. This is a key holder i altered. I used copper which i put through a crinkler and i used a metal star which i added alcohol inks to. Plus other bits like collage image and words.

The theme at stamp something this week is cream and green   
I combined this with a spring theme of new birth and foliage and came up with this atc.

Distressed Heart

 This one is a small framed and distressed piece with heart by Dezinaworld  approx twinchie size. Using alcohol inks, distress ink and ordinary inks and embossing powders.

Golden Box

This golden box i made for the 'Girly challenge' at  'Stamp something'  Its an altered chocolate box. I used cosmic shimmer powder paints and a very old vintage storybook page plus my lady stamp and decor stamps and some altered and inked flowers. It will be used as a gift box at some point.

Flutterby wednesday

This is another one for flutterby wednesday challenge. I love winged things and love this challenge.
This one is a simple card but the card background is made using Pastels and blending then i sprayed with hairspray to seal. Added the fairy image which although you cant see has been emboss glittered subtley on the fairys wings and dress etc. finished off with a stamped greeting and blended to go with the card. I like the colour results on this one

spring

 Spring inspired this growing colour tag which i decided to base on the purple crocuses i have seen recently and added some more pastel colours with cosmic shimmer powders. The tag was finished off with fibres etc.

One small piece

My mojo is a little bit on strike at the moment so havent been doing very much. This is the only piece i have made recently apart from my card the other day.
This started off as an atc i was making then i decided it was boring and wanted to frame it so hence this finished piece

OSAAT card

This one is for the challenge at OSAAT blog I hope it fits the bill. This may be my last ever sketch card as i do struggle with them. I am i think, much better at atc,s and altered art but like to play and have a try.

This one has layers of papers and Lace  and the main circle is a small cd disk with alcohol inks, prima flowers which have been glitter embossed. Then finished off with greeting and peel off butterflies
