It worked!

 Going into the craft cupboard worked. I was looking for my muse and just playing and made the tag in previous post and then quite pleased with this piece which is an atc I made using 3d paint,heat gun, metallic pieces, pen and glimmer mists etc
i called it Amber Bark

craft room lock in

well i didnt lock myself in the craft room but havent been near it for days and just seem less and less likely to do anything in there so made myself go in today and just do something .... I ended up making this tag i just need a right kick up the backside right now lol

A little tag

I made this small tag today, using an image of a lady in a mask, colouring and adding to a stamped and inked background. finished with pearls and ribbon

Slide mail art

As you know, i have been struggling so much with my muse and art in general. I just feel stuck in a rut. I was however inspired by two lovely people this week. My friend Jude brought me these gorgeous roses and they are an inspiration on their own and then I won some fabulous blog candy from my lovely blogging friend Janic. Janice sent me a host of goodies including some slide mailers and paris elements. I have an absolute love of Paris, It is one of my favourite cities and i adore all things Parissiene so this is what i came up with. Thanks for sticking with me through these artless times.

Just a play around

I loved this masked guy i found and wanted to play a little so I made this piece. I no longer worry about sizes of art work pieces as it seems a shame not to use all the different sized pieces of card i have lying around. Freedom !!!!! lol (oh by the way the guy in the background is meant to be him climbing in a window to do a burglary or something wicked lol

Made a card

Its not often i do, but decided to make a card using collage and distressing, there are actually lots of different techniques and mediums used on this one lol but you wouldnt know it as the small piece in the middle with the lady on is where most of them are :)

Embossed rose tag & woodburn piece

 Two pieces to share today. I spent the morning doing housework and then crafted these two. I had much fun with them too and finally feel like i am into creating again.
The Rose tag is inked and embossed on background and the roses were also embossed. I attached some broken jewellery to the ribbon too as wanted to include some recycling. I would like to put this one in the  Lots to do challenge and also my own challenge at show and share art 

The other one is a dragonfly in the grass piece which is balsa wood stamped and burned with wood burning tool and then inked slightly with two distress inks and lightly varnished

3 small pieces

I know i have been neglecting my blog a lot lately but to be honest the creativity is not flowing its just about dripping very slowly lol. I have three pieces to share today , none of them are particularly good but at least i did something. The urge is still there to create, but nothing seems to inspire me right now.
