Latest work

The first one is a 15 inch x 15 inch canvas and i only just finished it. This one i called Victory ... the poem is from Shakespeare and to me it speaks of freedom.
The second piece took a few days to dry its my first easter egg. The egg is boiled then added layers of alcohol ink, glittery embossing powder (heat slowly and carefully to avoid the egg cracking -I did it in four turns with cooling gaps )and then its sealed in pva glue

ADDING THIS ONE IN ........... Today i made a piece for the fun challenge at Mixed media Monday so thought i would add it into this post - here is what i made for the 'laughter ' challenge

I am just blown away by that egg, June! How very gorgeous! And for you to have the patience to let it dry several days, wow! I am so impatient. And your canvas is just as stunning! Wonderful works.

Hi June!! So good to see your work again. The texture on that egg is awesome! And I love the way that black and white couple stands out against the colorful background. But, truly, I love it all. Every bit.

It was so nice to see your comment on my blog today! Thanks for always remembering me, no matter how long I stay away. You're a doll! xoxo
