Poisoned Heart

This is poisoned heart necklace. Made on stampbord with freehand pattern and alcohol inks. All jewellery bits are recycled

I have also made a journal for the dark artist guild as it is in the ONE HEART GIVEAWAY but its pretty scary so i shall post that on my darkside blog hehehe !!





















Today i have to show you my wonderful prize that I won from the amazing Nicks . I was just soooooo lucky that my name was picked from the many, many bloggers who wanted to win this art frame. Isn't it devine ??? It will be hung on my wall in front of where i sit so it may inspire me often.

Experimenting !! Oriental Arch

This one was just to satisfy my inquisitve nature. I was in the experimental mood lol.
This one is a big mix of stuff.

The purply/red base with tree on is alcohol ink on sandpaper ( worked ok and looks quite nice .. touchy feely lol ) The tree itself is painted free hand with a nail artists black nail varnish

The shiny right side of the image is silver mirror card scrunched and alcohol inked before and after scrunching ... ( not that sure how that looks, cant decide if i like it or not ... more experiments lol )

The image itself is decorated with a little sakura penned decor and then the whole image is clear sakura covered for a subtle embossed shine

The top of the arch is just inked in black bluey green colour then i added some sunshine to the middle with dabbers and added a trim of black fringe and some more freehand nail varnish doodling in blue around the edge

This is a photo taken at the back of my flat last summer. Andrea my daughter in law is stood in the doorway with Casey my youngest grandchild. Casey was born las May. She is now a lot bigger and was here yesterday laughing and giggling and is such a delight. Its lovely to look at this photo again for the flowers .. the garden currently is in its sleep state lol and looking a bit sad.

Just an atc i made from scraps

Thought i would use up some scraps of alcohol inked card and other bits and make this atc. It was pleasant just to play with the bits and bobs. Sometimes a lack of direction is therapeutic

This one was inspired by my all time favourite place of peace. Its called 'Lonely Bird' Its a place i go to (in my head ) whenever i want to zone out

something new challenge & blog candy

This is for the Stamp Something New Challenge
The atc is made using a new technique i tried. The background is toilet tissue dampened and moulded to my clean dry stamp. Then when dry (overnight ) I brushed it all over with my new inksentials matte accents and left to dry then i smothered in blue sparkly stickles. and left to dry again. the final result is a raised pattern which is quite stiff from the glues. I added an image which is my own stamp design from vintage photo and cut out and added with embelishments of cord,charm and brads

Snakeskin atc

I got some fabulous snakeskin paper that was just begging for a little alcohol ink. So off i went with that and that only in mind then decided and atc was in order and from there this one was born ... that is sometimes how i create, just with one colour or material and then it just goes from there. Are you all like that too ?
