Grandfather clock

I got this large grandfather stamp ages ago from my lovely friend Susan   and its one of my favourite stamps but as i mainly do small art, i rarely have used it. Today though i decided it needed an airing so i got some black card and i stamped the clock in white ink then embossed in  some brand new white embossing powder. I then sprayed the black card with my new  gold irridecent spray and then dried. After that i sponged it all over with alcohol inks to give the coloured effect and mounted on a black card and attached tiny purple stones in the corner and wording which was alcohol inked too. I don't often do cards but thought this would make a nice card for male or female so was pleased with the result. I would like to add this to the OSAAT challenge which is something new. ... i used two new items (see above )

Beautiful gifts and some art

 A wonderful package arrived to me all the way from Las Vegas. Inside carefully wrapped in beautiful tissue papers were the most exquisite lace pieces, vintage text and gorgeous lace doillies ( not sure of the spelling there ) Anyhow, these came from a wonderful special lady who i have met through blogging. Ginny is such a lovely friend and her blog is always so interesting, I also love her art work which you can see in the photograph as she sent me this beautiful atc too. Thanks so much Ginny. The items below are just some of this lovely package which included buttons and a lovely postcard as well as even more lace and crochet work. 

 
Also over the last few days I have managed to create and here are the two pieces I made. The giraffe postcard i made for the lots to do challenge and scrunch /distress inked the background and added old stamps. The atc is just one i made for fun. The red haired man is painted with inks and a diamonte stud is added.I also used a piece of white paper doilly to the background.

This is a card made using one of the Mega backgrounds ( See side bar at  Dezinaworld  )  and one of the Personality girls from todays set at Dezinaworld

Masked Heart

Hi all, this one is the first piece i have been able to do for a while. Just a little tag but enjoyed making it. the mask stap is from clear impressions and the heart is punched out and coloured with cosmic shimmer spays as is the background. the colours on the mask are sakura pens and white gel pen.

Lipstick Lady Magical crafts

This is one I made using the  Dezinaworld   Woman 1 collage sheet. I love to play with mono and just a tiny touch of one strong colour.

I made this one for the Lots to do challenge   Which is flourishes and swirls.

The little butterfly is wooden and i added white outline gel pen to it.

Playing again

 I have been playing with my new mono 3 sheet again ( see Dezinaworld  ) I posted the Halo piece yesterday ( thanks for your lovely comments on that one ) and today i had to just have another play lol so here is 'My Prince'  ;)

Back on line

Lol bet you didnt even notice i had gone hehe. I had problems with my pc and just got back today. So all back to normal now and i am posting a little atc I  made on black card with background if paints and glimmer mists and the heart is texturized around the outside with 3d fluffy stuff dried and sprayed with glimmer mists

Gorgeous art gift and a new card for sir stampalot

 Look what I got in a postmans surprise package today .... Ohhhhh it is so gorgeous. My lovely blogging friend Ann (flutterbycrafter ) made this gorgeous art hanger which is exquisite, the details,metalwork and colours are awesome. and just look at the gorgeous metal embossed bird !! What a clever lady and what a lovely thoughtful friend. thanks so much Ann :)

Also today I made something for the  Sir Stampalot challenge for May.....
Blossoms and butterflies ... Inspired me to make a card using recycled cardboard which i coated twice in white acrylic paints then used some  Tim Holz antique linen distress ink around the torn edges and added some embossing in holographic sparkle just for that added interest ( doesnt show well in photo though ) Also I did the same around a pretty torn paper and added it to a card which i stamped with paper artsy letters using a darker distress ink. I stamped the image  with saddle brown stazon and antique linen distress ink onto a square of paper and added some roses and metal butterfly which are both secured with hot glue

Pastel explosion

I have been back in my craft cupboard and made a pastel atc using mica for colour and adhering to acrylic gel.splatters are a deep blue ink, some beneath the mica and some overlaid.
